The following written questions have been received from members of the public:

(1) Derek Wright – Valley Gardens

Residents and the Friends of Valley Gardens Group are requesting that they to be able to enjoy the grassed areas of Valley Gardens all year round and that the outdoor events be contained only to the purpose-built hard surface areas. Will the council ask for an officer’s report to be made that considers rotating annual events to different open spaces around the city (to areas that would welcome open more outdoor events) allowing the green areas of Valley Gardens time to recover and the residents a season to use them uninterruptedly?
